    ppl protested & did not allow Mayor of Sinjar Mahma Khalil to return to the city. The will of Yazidis should be respected, the ppl who Yazidis support should represent them. The KDP & Iraqi Gov should not impose their political agendas on Yazidis.

    Emotions are raw in this tragic moment. Exploiting the desire for retribution following these killings distracts from the long-term problem of executions of innocents after erroneous convictions. Fanning the passions of the mob in this fashion is irresponsible and inappropriate.
