    Al-Kiswah, south of has been home to at least one facility for at least 2yrs. Satellite imagery from late-2017 showed an expansive facility, which itself was hit by in December 2017. Air defense fire is *still* ongoing - this is a serious escalation.

    : I was involved in talks with 's armed opposition in mid-2014 when SDM took on the Envoy role. I'll always remember how he met with twice before his first outreach to the opposition. That killed his mission from Day 1 -- he burned his credibility.

    What a joke. I and others have complained to about accounts that (1) "impersonate" (2) "in a deceptive manner," & with libelous consequences at that -- yet we were told they were "parody accounts" & thus deemed ok. Then complains & we all bow down.

    We suspended for impersonation based on a valid report we received from Russian officials. Our impersonation policy can be found here:

    Far from the first time, as I understand. But a newly important U.S. focus, for sure. Privately, some officials in admit that U.S. influence through the has helped deter the / from conducting urban terror attacks in , etc.

    held a meeting with top political and military leaders in , about 2 weeks ago. A compliance investigation highlighted the -core continuing relations with the . Coalition advised all relations should be cut, and money flow to Qandil stopped.

    Worrying -- the fight is far from over. 50-to-92 fighters were killed in fighting for 2 villages between 23-26 November. 20 more personnel were taken prisoner & 51 civilians were killed amid heavy U.S. bombing.
