I spoke with someone who attends this school. I know what the video looks like, but from students at attendance, there is more. The admins had broken into the stall due to reports of weed being smoked and the student hadn’t complied w/ previous warnings.

But even then though like let’s say that was true. They’re still opening the stall on a kid in the bathroom. Some type of action has to be taken here because that’s just not okay.

That is true. But what do you do in that situation? You believe a student is doing drugs on campus and has locked themselves in the bathroom. I’m not saying it was the right course of action; I am saying the story has more than what is covered.

Call the police and stay out of the bathroom

I understand what you are saying, however Osseo is a school predominantly of color in white area. I could understand if the admins felt that would be a violent act to call the police. I believe we need to hear more from the people involved.

I’m sorry I did not think of that, that was dumb and insensitive I’m sorry. I do not believe the story being told to the public by any school officials. I do believe the student because I heard one of the administrators address her as “mister”

To me that is a sign something is wrong with this story they are telling to the public.

For that exact same reason opening the stall of a trans person is seen as a violent act. Invasion of privacy, history of discrimination, especially trans women of color
