to media outlets that are contacting me: I don't know the student personally. I just reposted it personally to show what trans people deal with. I reported it as well. The student asked people to share it so I made it my priority. No one should be treated like this. Period.

Exactly. It would be wrong in any other scenario where an adult purposely walks in on a minor, regardless of orientation.

And unlocking the damn door. That’s not even necessary, that’s straight up harassment. I’ve shared bathrooms with transgender women and the ONLY thing that’s happened are complements on hair and my outfit. Why are we still acting like this?

They didn’t even give her the dignity of finishing her business. They straight up tried to humiliate her. For what?!

If anyone did this to me I’d be furious. She has every right to be upset and feel violated. I guarantee you no one complained too. They just targeted her for no reason.

"Or w/e creature they mentally claim to be". Way to demonstrate your lack of understanding from the get-go. Also: I guarantee you that if your daughters use a public restroom regularly, they have already been in there with a trans-woman / girl at some point.
