They finished their shopping and have nothing else to do. This happens at Anthrocon too. People decide they're taking the whole week off, and Mon/Tues are usually tourism and fursuit-for-the-public times.

Also staff at Anthrocon start showing up Tuesday because there's stuff to do. (Including me!) That said Monday is definitely extra. Tuesday is dedicated. Wednesday is now entirely normal. It used to be Friday was the big arrival day at cons. haaaaaah
