Some of the maps I published on Twitter so far. My maps cover the topics of conflicts and ethnicity in the MENA region with a special focus on the Kurdish struggle for freedom.

I recommend everyone to read thread on Amnesty’s claim: He basically asses Amnesty’s bogus claims and also writes about his own experiences from the battle of Raqqa.

After debunked Amnesty’s claims of “80% of Raqqa destroyed” by using Amnesty’s own data, they are know looking for help to come closer to that number:

Just as announced by , Talabani clan cracked down on party. Apart from a despicable motivation, the PUK is actively breaking law with this action. Great work in destroying Kurdistans reputation, you and KDP are unstoppable!

This may seem just ugly, but it's actually catastrophic, as Mesopotamia can't effort to irreversibly pollute it's left groundwater reserves! The droughts are already a major cause of the wars haunting the region. And scientists expect the rivers to run DRY in the next decades.

PUKs ordered actions against parties in Silêmanî province that didn't obtain approval of KRGs Ministry of Interior Affairs. Parties affected have to close their offices within 24 hours. This action will mostly target Tevgerî Azadî, a democratic confederalist party.

Just like the facades of civilian homes don't survive the presence of JTS.

The foundation of JTS was a complete cover-up operation similiar to Nusra's shift to HTS, only it was more successful, because there were enough journos that were willing to buy it. Nonetheless, this facade doesn't survive a closer look.

Here is another proof why presenting JTS as only left democratic alternative of the opposition (in contrast to HTS) is at best naive. Elements like Ahrar ash-Sham differ from HTS in the aspect of being more adaptive and opportunistic in the means, but the aims are similiar.

The total death toll is something I will not pretend to know. But what I do know is that at least 40 on both sides. 11 Daesh were captured (including foreigners) 6 SDF were captured (5 Arabs from Raqqa and 1 Assyrian from Khabour)

They used SDF uniforms to set up a fake checkpoint and effectively stop reinforcements from getting to Jubb al Bahra. They then launched a massive assault on the town. At the same time, a large group of sleeper agents appeared in and attempted to seize control.

Situation at Hajin front is a bit unclear. There were massive IS raids and several SDF fighters have been captured. Conflicting reports on whether IS managed to capture al-Bahrah and if they still hold it.

If true, this is another disastrous blow to SDFs operation in Bayt 'Uqaydat.
