  1. More proof of the state of rule of law in Kurdistan: Tavgar, a pkk-affiliated party which has an MP in Iraqi parliament, is denied license in the KRG while it was given lisence in Iraq; Tavgar isn’t allowed to operate in KDP-controlled areas anyways but now PUK follows suit.

    I am not against improving ties with Turkey especially for the resumption for flights there which is a vital part of the province’s economy but that should be done through krg insututions; such moves are further proof of total collapse of institutions in the region.

    Barzani had a busy day meeting all senior pro-Iran leaders in Baghdad; the relationship between pro-Iran parties and Barzani is so warm that Hadi al-Amiri went to the airport to welcome him. And his son Masrour is with him, just like Mustafa Barzani was taking him to Baghdad.
