As per the Kurdistan political parties law @qubadjt has mentioned in his undemocratic & unlawful decision, it says the Interior Ministry should respond in 30 days concerning the application of the party, & Council of Minister has 45 days to approve or not. http://www.kurdistan-parliament.org/files/articles/020315071404.pdf …
If the Interior Ministry/Council of Minister does not respond during this period, the political parties will be considered as a lawful party, & can work. The Free Society Movement has applied since 2014, the KRG @qubadjt has neither rejected nor approved.
Therefore; @qubadjt should question his Interior Ministry why they haven't responded the application yet, & if they have rejected, what r the reasons as the Ministry should clarify so that the party will correct & strengthen the application.
But eventually late Talabani realised that Turkey remains close to the KDP & it will not care much about the PUK. I hope @qubadjt will rethink his decision, & he will not turn the KRG further to an authoritarian regime. Closing parties always done by authoritarian parties.
Finally, I want to remind @qubadjt to close the illegal oil refineries & cos, the militias & mafia groups, bring jobs & justice, providing democracy & free speech not working against political parties & ideologies. It will make him look so bad, not the person he wishes to be.
I forgot to remind @qubadjt that as per Article 15th item 3, the political parties should not have arms & militias. Talabani's party has armed forces, used to crackdown protesters & raiding on party offices. Closing down such militias is his work not closing political parties.

I know this may strike you as a silly question, but what is @qubadjt ‘s authority to close parties’ offices, whether licensed or unlicensed?
This is a serious question, I bet he has not read the law of political parties Kurdistan Parliament passed in 1993. But you know, he is deputy PM, he can't do anything in Erbil & Duhok, but he can do anything in Sulaimani if not against his PUK elite & his family members.
