GOODBYE LAPIS.
#Pants and I had to say goodbye to #Lapis and we are #heart broken. I adopted Lapis as a senior #rattie and although I’ve only known her for 4 months, she quickly grabbed my heart and I fell in love. Lapis and Pants were long lost biological #sisters ,so it was beautiful to witness their reunion and slowly see a strong bond emerge. In the end, Pants and Lapis were together ALL the time. In fact, the black and white photo I took of them, was their last moment together at the hospital in the carrier before she was sent to heaven. Pants pressed her face against Lapis’ and stayed with her until the very end. Lapis my sweet girl, I honor you! Thank you for coming into our lives and blessing us with your charm, sassiness and beautiful heart! You are a gentle, kind and tender soul and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to get to know you. Thank you for trusting me and letting me in. I #love you so much! Fly #LapisLazuli Fly!
