    Terrible idea. It’s like they are trying to drive Palestinians into political bankruptcy so they’ll “sell low” on a bad peace deal. Far more likely result is chaos & instability (and greater costs to US afterwards).

    Israel Hayom is the most widely read newspaper in Israel because it is distributed for free. Adelson loses money propping the newspaper, all for the sake of affecting Israeli public opinion.

    The US partnered with the PYD (and urged them to create the SDF cover) knowing full well they are a PKK branch. Thanks to U.S support, the PYD is able to maintain governance structures in Syria & collect taxes, which are then sent to the central PKK command. No surprise there.
