might end up doing that if its gonna cost me so much to fix. its a 2001 kawasaki ninja 500 with 14k miles and it ran good before i sold it. i bought it back from the guy i sold it to, but he asked for less than i thought since it didnt run and had a flat tire and dead battry. extra money bought another battery but then i ended up putting it in a shop. since jims only got bikes i had to have another friend take it to the shop, which is like 200 miles from where i live. need to get rid of my wifes car and buy a damn truck.
those are jims bikes in the background. all hondas, but i dont remember the models. the orange one was what he was building at that time.
i need a garage to. apartments are cheap, but the lack of a garage blows.
yeh, mine was a 2001 ex500. got the carbs right, but theres an electrical problem thats expensive to fix, so i might part it out. gotta get the bike back from the shop first.
Man, that sucks about the neglect. Never sell your cars, trucks or bikes to friends. Then you don't have to worry about it again. Anywho, you dont have to get a new cdi box. Do a bit of internet searching and Im sure you can find a good used one for like $50. Perhaps im too late as its been a while.
