    Cosign this comment in its entirety. If you don't like Turkey, your cooking the bird wrong. In a related story, 's 80-year old father-in-law took one bite and pronounced it the best Turkey he'd every had. He wasn't wrong.

    I endorse everything writes about Turkey and am appalled by everything he writes about turkey. He’s clearly never had a properly cooked bird on Thanksgiving, since if he had he’d know that it’s superior to chicken in every way

    Excellent. I've been saving this up for months. When I ask for a tea and the barista says "iced or hot": this is propaganda priming horseshit from the iced tea contingent. Everyone knows "tea" without "iced" in front of it means "hot." Stop trying to get me to drink iced tea.

    Now that's an interesting take. Bad books = market/policy correction.

    A lot of bad ideas can hold up long enough for a magazine article but don’t hold up when you have to write them at the depth &length of a book. It’s important to write those books so we can see what’s truly a good idea & what’s a superficially good idea that sucks on closer look. …
