They're a fairly crap ally to Russia too, tbh. As well as playing against both the US and Russia in Syria, they've shot down a Russian jet and assassinated a Russian ambassador.
They've also recently killed off half a jihadi group they were sponsoring, and they've been bombing civilians in the KRG. Erdogan is just a terrible ally to everyone.
