I'm constantly amazed that people think they can do an aha-gotcha on scientists who have spent their careers researching their specialism.

I agree but where was the "Gotcha" in this post? He never said he didn't believe in climate change, just that the data presented wasn't a good sample set, which is a fair critique. Y'all just looking to get angry.
-
I love it how people who literally couldn't even calculate a mean to save their lives can detect the need for a bigger sample size whenever they see a result that they dont like.
-
he clearly didn't understand the graph terribly well, since the 30y period is only used to set the vertical offset, meaning its length is essentially irrelevant.

Global mass starvation in 10-15 years with a US debut within 20-30. Global population losses of 90-99% within a century. Happy Thanksgiving! Here's a nice article from 5 years ago for you to consider as California dries & burnshttps://slate.com/technology/2013/07/california-grows-all-of-our-fruits-and-vegetables-what-would-we-eat-without-the-state.html …

The easy answer would be people would just get one child per family but that already failed in China At some point population growth has to stop this way or another
-
Lol yeah let’s pretend that simply having less children is the solution to climate change rather than destroying the companies who have perpetuated increased consumption of all resources for decades and continue to push for less regulation ok

What's lost is that this scientific luminary doesn't think that 1951 - 1980 is 30 years.
-
Well it's only 29, not 30.
-
I'm not sure you know how to count.
-
It's 29 or 30 depending on whether the range is inclusive or exclusive. If it's inclusive, it's 30.
