It's a good idea to organize a barbecue; sort of a BYOB kind of thing, but with 'beef' instead of beer. We furs love that sorta thing ;) Since Painless and I live down near Pueblo we probably wouldn't be in Denver more often than we already are for Sketch Nite, but it is a fun fun idea.

I'm down south as well, so Denver is out of reach unless it is something big. If there is interest, I'd love to host something at the park, library, zoo, do an art jam or go for pizza.

I'm originally from Colorado but I live in Arizona if you guys have this Waterpark thing can out-of-state people join?

Denfur sounds like it might work out well. The pieces will be picked up and reassembled better than ever, with new blood and enthusiasm. If the community pulls together to create something everyone can be happy with, I think it will work out quite well.

Looking forward to denfur but that's not until next year >.< as for a day with water balloons and water and stuff outside that sounds like a blast

Let Denfur be held in August and not in September alot of us can not get that time in Sept off easily.

Am I excited...hmmm...that's a bit of a loaded question. I was on staff with RMFC for 7 amazing and wonderful years. That in and of it's self helped boost my confidence and I made some great friends as a result of my involvement. While I'm happy there will be another con to replace it, I have very mixed feelings about it. The fact that it came to be because too many easily triggered peeps wanted to act like children having a bitch fest and tear down other furries instead of respecting each-others differences is a bit disturbing. It's even more disturbing that within hours of RMFC being canceled that it was announced and already a bit fleshed out on planning. It's as if they were planning for and even orchestrated the downfall of RMFC due to some power play. Am I excited...I dunno. It will be nice to have a con to go to. The events surrounding it's coming into existence though have caused me to loose some faith in the fandom and some of the people in it and it kind of kills my desire to attend.
