Any ideas? Just curious because I heard Kim K described Kanye's smell like that. Got me thinking.
EDIT: Looks like Ye wears these fragrances
Yves Saint Laurent -La Nuit de l'Homme
Yves Saint Laurent - l'Homme Orginal
Byredo - 1996
Byredo - Elevator Music
Try Creed Spice and Wood. It smells like your rich cousin's grandpa's cabin including hardwood furniture. It also boosts your Credit Score by 10 points while applied.
When I think of people I wanna smell like, Kim Kardashian and Kanye does not come to mind.
He didn't ask for personal opinions on the celebs themselves, he asked for a fragrance that would represent richness, wealth. Know of any?
Literally, what with that "90% of US bills have traces of cocaine on them" stat.
A lot of TF private blends smell posh. I personally think Green Irish Tweed smells like a rich guy as well.
Jubilation XXV — rich like an Arabian prince. Royal Oud — rich like a country club.
I'd be rather interested in a double blind study on this topic.
Quite a few scents mentioned will be very nice, probably on the denser side, possibly nice and creamy like. But mostly associated to money because one knows how much they cost.
I'd be really interested to see what people associate with "rich" when they just get to sniff something, without knowing what it is, by whom and how much it costs.
Coromandel smells like money to me. I have it and love it, but struggle to find occasions to wear it because I’m actually a peasant and never dress up beyond “jeans and a t-shirt” level - which in my case translates to oversized sweater/sweatshirt and leggings/jeggings.
Wear it anyway! Coromandel with a sweater and leggings says "I'm so beautiful, rich and classy that I don't need to make an effort. I'm comfortable, I smell great, and I don't care a fig what anyone else thinks."
I have the EDP and people say it smells like a Christmas candle.
These smell like someone with big money. I beggared myself to buy them:
Encens Mythique d'Orient, Mon Précieux Nectar, Ensar Oud No. 2 EDP (musk- not oud focused)
I keep almost ordering EO No. 1 and No. 2 samples on the website then chickening out when it comes to pay. Good to know No. 2 is not oud focused. Have you tried No. 1? The oud scares me but I love leather scents in general
No I haven't. As much as I'd like to be perfume forward and fabulous that way, oud is not really my thing.
Cheers I’m not a fan of oud as well so probably too risky a blind buy even just for the sample :/
Jubilation XXV comes to mind, I see someone's mentioned it already. This might be a weird choice but Black Afgano by Nasomatto is my pick. It's just so dark and fucking thick that you would have to have game to wear it, and it wouldn't surprise me if some celebrities really like this scent.
MFK Baccarat Rouge 540. Once read someone describe it as smelling like 'crushed rubies', and yes it does.
I don’t get how it smells like crushed rubies or crystal. I only get orange candy and latex. I agree more with a review I read which said it smells like a lady who’s had a lot of cosmetic surgery to be beautiful, so I guess it does smell rich 😝
Royal Oud by Creed. Oud Wood by Tom Ford. Reflection Man by Amouage.
Nah, Aqua is lovely but it doesn't make you smell rich at all.
Hmm I personally feel like I’m smelling rich when wearing Invictus Aqua. But that’s a personal feeling and others may not feel like that.
1 million obviously /s

some of the stuff on this thread has been confirmed but idk about the "people I know who have worked with him say he smells like x" comments
Creed Aventus YSL tuxedo Boss bottle actually also exudes a professional rich kinda scent
Kanye West kind of money huh? I'm thinking Roja-Oligarch. And Roja Enigma. Holy shit those are about as luxurious as you can get, and they both draw compliments. (Mostly Oligarch) I'm thinking more along the lines of Putin, Trump, Jerry Jones
If you walk by someone wearing Oligarch about 30 min in, it's a wow, head turning factor.
Surprised no one has mentioned Creed Millesime Imperial. Like dollar bills plus salty watermelon.
