I'm a male in my early twenties just for reference.

First cologne I bought was YSL La Nuit (bottle from 2015), I didn't like it as first but it grew on me and now I love it. Spicy but not TOO sweet, the dry down is really pleasant. The fragrance really transforms in cold weather. Perfect for the fall and winter. Women definitely love this scent. I would give it a strong 8/10.

Drakkar Noir, my dad got this for me since he said it used to be popular back in the day. There is a lot going on with this scent...I'm not sure how to describe it. It smells like a overpowering green and purple scent. It is very masculine, fresh but STRONG? It doesn't smell bad, but I fear for anyone who has to smell this on someone who sprays it more than once. I think a toned version of it would actually be really nice. The negative stigma attached to it definitely plays with my head a bit. I can't get that Family Guy skit out of my head when smelling it. I'd rate it a light 4/10.

Versace Pour Homme. I heard good things about this scent, so it was a blind buy. Apparently it was a safe and fresh scent. I would have to agree with this for the most part. Citrus, and a little bit spicy, green, and floral. Lemon is the note I pick up the most, with a light bergamot. Honestly smells a bit like lemon pledge or a lemon scented urinal cake...not sure if that's a good thing. Sometimes it can have a chemical (synthetic?) smell that makes me feel nauseous. Dry down is pretty nice, but the longevity of the scent isn't too strong. It seems to project well since I've gotten a lot of compliments wearing this. Rating - light 7/10.

Dior Sauvage. Lmao...I just don't understand. I know this was a polarizing scent, and I thought people who hated were just doing so because it's so popular, but good lord this fragrance smells absolutely repulsive to me. People have suggested spraying it once behind your neck so you don't pass out from the ambroxan fumes permeating from your chest. I don't think you should have to do to this to tolerate a scent. I understand it smells different from a distance, but I jus't cant do it. The hilarious part is women actually like it. I asked a few of my friends that are girls and they all enjoyed it, I wasn't surprised just sad. Notes I pick up are strong ambroxan, followed by bergamot, lavender, and spicy pepper. It smells VERY synthetic. There is no depth to this fragrance imo. It really does smell like clothing detergent, and not in a good way (is there even a good way?). Do I recommend this...no. Will it get you compliments? Yes. But is it possible if your significant other smells you too closely wearing Sauvage they might puke on you? Also yes. Rating - strong 2/10. I'm not given it a 1/10 because my cat went nuts smelling this on me. She even started licking and rolling on the paper I sprayed it on to first test the scent. She bit me when I tried to take it away from her. It made me laugh which is the only redeeming thing about this fragrance.

Versace Dylan Blue. The lady tried to sell me this when I bought Pour Homme. I ended up getting a small test sprayer to try it out. It's a nice and safe scent. The ambroxan is more toned down here compared to Sauvage, thank god. Dylan Blue is a bit bizarre to me since it smells like fragrance an older gentleman would wear, while also smelling like a fragrance a younger man would would wear. Except that I would only recommend it for people 18-late 20s. Notes I pick up citrus, something sweet, pepper, patchouli, incense, and something that smells a bit aquatic. Why I don't recommend it for the older crowd is because of the sweetness, it smells synthetic compared to La Nuit which smells more authentic sweet to me. I don't think it's a summer scent exclusively, it can work in the colder months as well. It's just a weird fragrance, a lot of things going on but it works. I've gotten compliments from guys and girls wearing this. Rating light to strong 7/10.

Versace Eros. Please make it stop. I wanted to get this stuff off me right away when I wore, but I knew I had to test it out in the way it really matters. Going out. And yes...girls like this scent, you will get compliments wearing this. It smells like something a girl would wear. This is definitely for the young crowd, teenager to early 20s. Wear this to the beach or the club. If you wear this at a bar or at a friends house party, I just don't see how that is going to work. It performs well and lasts a long time, TOO LONG. Strong smell of synthetic vanilla, mint, tonka bean, with some citrus and apple. I really dislike this fragrance, it's just too damn sweet it actually gives me a headache. I will never wear it again. If you can tolerate it, and like to go clubbing, I say try it out. There has to be better clubbing scents than this though. Rating light 3/10.

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. Sort of reminds of Eros but not repulsive. I don't have much to say about this. It smells a bit dated. Vanilla, lavender, mint. It's a decent sweet and fresh scent. I wouldn't wear this, I don't know why anyone would. But it's not because it's a bad fragrance, just nothing special. I'd give it a light 5/10.

Mugler A*Men. I thought this was the worst fragrance I've ever smelled before I was punished by Dior Sauvage. It smells like an old lady. It smells like that evil substitute teacher who actually makes you do a bunch of work and doesn't let you talk to your friends in class. It smells like your grandma, and not in the good nostalgic way. Why did anyone ever wear this? A bunch of old dudes rave about this scent on frag forums. I feel bad for them. There is no way I'm just not old enough for this scent. It smells horrible, you cannot convince me otherwise. Caramel, tonka, patchouli, coffee, raisins (grandma pls stop), mint, citrus, and lavender. It's too much. It's like a powdery lavender sugar queef. Rating strong 2.1/10. Only because Dior Sauvage is actually that bad.

Calvin Klein Eternity for men. There is also not much to say about it. It's safe I guess? Smells like something a girl would wear. Citrus and lavender, fresh. My cat also liked this scent lmao. Girls definitely like it, but I really can't see a guy wearing this. I know it's almost 2019 though so go for it if you love it. Rating light 6/10.

Polo Blue. It's a classic for a reason. Is this the safest scent in existence? It might be. Any guy could wear this, any age. Fresh scent you can't go wrong with at work, class, or the gym. Shit, you could even wear this out. You might not get a ton of compliments, but you will 100% smell good. It's low key. Aquatic and fresh light spicy is a good way to characterize it. Cucumber, melon, orange, a little lavender and basil (?). I don't think it's an old guy scent, but yeah you might smell some girls dad. But it's not in a bad way at all. Strong 7.5/10. It has a special place in my heart. I feel like it's a great starter fragrance.

Creed Green Irish Tweed. This fragrance is really awesome. You are Irish Springs soap and body wash, Creed GIT is the fragrance your girl told you not to worry about. 6'0 (GIT) vs 5'11 (Irish Springs). Irish Springs is the AliExpress GIT. You get my point? If someone tells you, yeah GIT just smells like a more expensive version of Irish Springs, ask them...is that suppose to be a bad thign? Irish Springs soap smells really good, why not wear something that smells like it on fucking steroids. Honestly it doesn't smell THAT much like Irish Springs, but the comparison is there. This is a masculine fragrance. Spring, fall, winter. Great for the office, or going to class. I can see someone wearing this to a bar/pub, but definitely not a club. It smells green, it smells like how I assume Ireland smells. You know how Conor McGregor says Ireland just has a different kind of fresh, green air? That's how it smells. Apparently it has notes of lemon verbena, violet, and iris. I don't know what those smell like, so again it smells very green. It reminded of some type of seed I've smelled before, but I don't know what. This scent is like a male version of that woman who controls plants from the Batman movie. I don't know her name. The one where Arnold is Mr. Freeze. I really like GIT. Rating light 8/10.
