  1. Imagine if we also have had a strong leader who actually has a vision and dedicates every single day of his life to translate this vision into reality; we, in the KRG, have ended up with a guy whose only vision is consolidating his family's power, literally, nothing more.

  2. That moment you don't know much about Ataturk so you end up comparing him to Hitler! Ataturk's closest friend and 2nd TR president İsmet İnonu who was a Kurd; he paved the way for multiparty elections, he actually lost in a free election! + don't take it out of context.

  3. Let me add a comment here: I am not 'a fan' of Ataturk as some try to portray, but he was an extremely successful leader in the context of Turkey with a vision (regardless what was his vision), we as Kurds need a leader with a vision and similar dedication to rise.

This siren is the sound of sadness. The first time I heard this siren at 9:05, I actually had no idea what was happening. Every car and person on one of the busiest streets in Istanbul coming to a stop, and the sadness on everyone's faces, was a memory I'll never forget.

This is insane. Imagine such massive numbers and only in one city ask for her beheading. As a Muslim, I never want to be associated with such people who supposed to be my co-religionists.

Officer in Iraqi Joint Forces Command says there is a daily increase in ISIS attacks that are not reported to press. At least 20 killed & injured daily. ISIS still has pockets & cells in Baghdad, Ninawa, Anbar, Kirkuk & Salah ad-Din. No unity of command.

Today I interviewed 87-year-old Milan Hucko in Slovakia. I wouldn’t be alive without him. When he was 14, he and his family decided to hide my grandfather, a stranger, during the Holocaust.
