Great jacket, but
Great materials and design except for the lack of a zipper garage at the top of the zipper. Most shells have one but it was omitted on this model. If you have the zipper all the way up, it’s going to rub your neck. It would be uncomfortable if you are hiking in bad weather and had it zipped up for an extended period of time. I hope BD changes this. Other than the zipper, I really like the jacket.

Another great BD Product - beware of size
Great rain jacket from Black Diamond that is super light weight and adaptable to changing weather with the under arm vents and cord within the hood.
Sizing is a bit off, sleeves seem to be out of proportion to the size ordered but I guess the Velcro on the wrist helps, however the bunching at the wrist does make it look funny. Just check the sizing chart. I ordered a medium, can probably get away with a small but it would run to high towards my waste. So I'll stick with the medium.

Awesome light rain shell!
Super happy about it. Very lightweight. The vents are great to keep you cool when it's hot and raining. Very confortable to run with or to move with. A great bang for the buck in my opinion and the design is flawless. The look is awesome. I also bought one for my girlfriend and she loves it!

Love it
So far I love this jacket. Haven’t had it out yet in a downpour but in light to medium rain it works quite well. I had (still have) a Patagonia Torrentshell but found it to be clammy/moist in even really light rain. The Stormline beats the Torrentshell hands down. Also like that it’s lightweight and has a soft feel. Fits nicely. Bravo!

Light and effective
Most of the light shells I've taken a chance on never live up to more than 'drizzle' conditions. This one does. I really like its ability to give a little when reaching for something. In a steady rain it performed very well. The cuffs stayed closed and didn't ride up. The hood fit very well and was easy to adjust. It kept me dry. This rain shell is a keeper.

My lovely rain jacket for alpine climbing
Very light and compact to clip on your harness on your alpine climbing, I don't even notice it next to my chalkbag, and cool design to wear from mountain to town!

Perfect summer rain jacket
I bought this for the walk or ride to work on summer rainy days. Perfect. Lightweight, packs down to nothing, sized to not cling in humidity. Waterproof when it rains. Sizing L was spot on for 6'2 44" chest. Based on experience in the city I would have no hesitation using it as a waterproof for day pack hikes.

Great material but runs large
It’s a great rain jacket but the sizing runs a little large. Be aware of that when purchasing.
