    Had Abdulla instead criticized Ataturk & Frederike responded "u can't possibly be serious" I bet would've still tweeted "another settler telling the native what it is that he actually needs because he knows better." He's logically & intellectually consistent like that.

    Out of the 100's of responses criticizing Abdulla's tweet, everybody except a tiny minority were Kurds. Yet Selim pretends it's Frederike telling the natives what to think. Please... Ps. very rich for a turkish worshiper of genocidal ataturk to call another person a "settler".

    Another day, another settler telling the native what it is that he actually needs because she knows better.

    It blows my mind whenever I see ppl admire the extremely shallow form of "modernity" & "secularism" dictators like Atatürk or Reza Shah introduced. Sorry, but I'll take backwardness & poverty over the kind of genocidal & oppressive pretend-"modern" state ataturk created, ANY DAY.

    I've never cringed as much as when I read this tweet. Yes, we should get inspired by a genocidal racist ultra-nationalist that was responsible for creating a horribly ugly & racist state that will remain unfixable unless totally torn apart & rebuild without his fucked up ideas.

    In the 80th anniversary of Ataturk's passing: we, in the , need a visionary leader like Ataturk to unify and modernize the nation - not some tribal 'leader' whose only vision is consolidating his family's power.
