Besides Google analytics, webmaster tools and etc... what other paid tools do you think a beginner should invest in first?
I'm interested in getting details about my site as well as the ability to compare all SEO aspects with competitor's sites.
Thank you
Our website rankings have dropped drastically over the last 3 months. Checked with Google webmasters tools, no manual actions, no unnatural links pointing to our website.
Our website is 6 years old and has always been on top.
Can anybody please help?
Hi,
I will change domain name for my existing site. Is there anything I can do in order for google to be okay? Any advice to not lose all traffic?
I have followed different tutorials, also used other website examples to create the best SEO for my blog and my personal website. I have been working on SEO on blog since January and for the personal website for a month.
For the blog if I check website position using site: myblogname.com it won't show up on the first page (how do I make, so it shows on the first page?)
For the personal website it shows on first google search page but never the first search result (some Linkedin link or youtube link where nothing is inside counts as the first on the results) what could be the issues?
Hi all, I’m a freshman at college and an assignment for my first year seminar involves making a blog related to what we are learning in the course. There are two groups in the class and the group with more traffic on their blog by the end of the semester wins, receiving a boost to their grade. I’ve got the website designed and some blog posts published, and I am posting fairly often, I’m just struggling to advertise it. Thanks for any suggestions.
I'd like to develop a site that is borderline adult, and I want to avoid being filtered out of typical searches, rich snippets and so on. I don't mean that deceptively--I want to set the content standards of the site so that it does not meet Google's criteria for an adult site.
But what are those criteria? Is it just about images, or is text also important? Does it matter what kinds of backlinks I get, or what sites I like to? Is it always on a site-wide basis or could I restrict adult content to certain marked pages?
Looking at competitors, it looks like some of them are filtered but others are not.
I'd love to be able to enter the site url and get back a list of the top 10 keywords that it could likely rank for (because they're in a similar topic / competitors rank for them etc), ordered by how much traffic each of those keywords get.
A few times I've seen a keyword that a site isn't ranking for, and I put a page together for it, and then within a month it's #1-3 because based on backlinks the site is really relevant for the keyword but it doesn't have a page aimed at that keyword. So it's like low hanging fruit. I'd like a tool that shows all the low hanging fruit that a site could likely easily rank high for if it only had a page targeted to that keyword.
What tool is the best way to do this?
Hi all, you guys probably already seen, top sites like TomsGuide, LaptopMag, AmamdTech, they use a Network Menu in footer or header. Meaning all of them are controlled by one media group.
I have two affiliate sites which do review work. Is it a good idea to link them as network sites or there are downsides for this?
I would like to get suggestions.
Thanks
Hello guys,
I'm doing a lot of update to my post for small things like changing Alt tags name or recently just spacing between paragraph.
Everytime I need to update the post and wanted to know if that could cause any issue with the ranking?
I know that Free isn't that good, but currently i just started a website and still don't make any money and i don't have any to buy tools or create paid accounts in websites like ahref and stuff, so i'm looking for some free seo tools ( websites, software ... ) to help me out.
Example: londonplumber(dot)com
Given 2 websites with the exact similar content/seo trying to rank for " London plumber ". Will the one with the keyword in the domain name have a better possibility?
I have a website that I worked tirelessly for two years to make it organically appear in the first page for a given keyword in my country...
However, all my users complain about its UX design, and I am about to change the UX design... would google consider it a new website and eliminate me from the search list and I would have start all over again?
I'm not sure if this question makes sense because I'm not an expert in SEO, but my assumption (obviously has the potential to be wrong, but using it to help expand on the original question), is that websites in rank 1-3 of Google search have a monopoly and can't be brought down in rank because if most traffic goes to rank 1-3 then the websites at the top continue to get stronger in their ability to maintain their rank, therefore giving no chance for any website outside of rank 1-3 the ability to get to the top. Is this true? I mean I guess it might be possible, but how?
I am a budding SEO/Web dev and I’m looking at tools such as: SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs.
Hey everyone,
SEO seems a bit of black magic to me since I know little about it and can't test what I know is a rumour or a fact. Where does one learn this art's proper foundations?
Is there a great website that would list 'tick 25 things for SEO' etc. But not instead read 25 websites and all claim different theories.
Perhaps there is a general web for all SEO regulations etc?
Thanks!
Can anyone please link me to a in depth article about GEO tag or just tell me here what it is and how it affects SEO.
Hi guys,
I have launched an SEO tool site called crawlcenter.com The site generates reports from the website data collected by our crawler. Does the keyword "crawl" in the domain name suit the tool? Is the domain name good for SEO (in a long run)?
TIA
I got two backlinks from high-profile websites but they don't show up in the GSC report. Ahrefs tool has found them and listing them in the report, but not GSC. It has been like a 10 days already and I can see the URL where the backlink is is displayed in the SERPs. Does this mean the backlink is not taken into account for calculating my rankings?

I currently have a domain that deals with specific programming languages. I was thinking about creating a new domain in a similar niche. The content will be distinct as it will deal with a different programming language, but it will cover similar concepts and ideas.
In light of the latest updates by Google, would my original domain get penalized for having a second domain in a similar niche, covering similar concepts by the same author, but the content would not be duplicated?
While I could look for opportunities to place the new content in the original domain, it may not be a full fit. Also, I would want to experiment with the new domain by adding new Web applications, which I would avoid placing in the original domain to prevent any breaks. I just don't want to create something which would harm my existing domain.
Your feedback is appreciated.
I’ve had 3 sites destroyed in the past but am determined to get it right this time. I used Upwork on the last 3 projects but the “expert” I hired each time drove the site into the ground.
I now have a new project and need advice on where to find a decent freelance SEO to help me out?
So I’m looking to purchase a domain. The .com is taken. I know I’ll lose customers some times by them going to the .com so I’ve been debating whether or not to choose a different name or go ahead and purchase the name with a hyphen or the .co?
Any loss from SEO by going one route or another? What do you all recommend?
Since Google is shutting down Google+, is it good idea to stop posting our regular updates on Google+ page or we need to continue posting till its shutdown?
