The easiest way to explain it is that it's directly analogous to furry. Furry is sexual to some, non-sexual to otherwise, but either way, it's not about having sex with an animal - it's about being one. It's a way to craft your own identity.

Last night a friend of mine showed me screenshots of a DM conversation he had with MFF's staff. They're aware of the threat and are taking the appropriate action. Hopefully this guy can remove the "@ MFF" from his name soon.
