    Exactly. MB channels in Turkey still use vile language to talk about the Copts, like referring to Egyptian army as "the crusader army" & claiming Egypt's deep state is controlled by the Copts. Much like blaming George Soros & globalists in the U.S., and worse.

    And no effort should be exerted to deny the sectarian discourse that *remains* from certain extremist Islamist opponents. Critique/opposition of the authorities has various genuine legitimate points: blaming Copts isn't one of them.

    I spoke to of Netanyahu's decision to publicly support Muhammad bin Salman as purported anchor for Saudi Arabia's stability. Netanyahu sees significant potential gains down the road if MbS persists. Same happened with Egypt's Sisi who feels endebted to this day.

    N.B. the Prince Tadros Church in Minya, the church where the funeral for six of yesterday’s massacre victims was held, was burned down by the Muslim Brotherhood in Aug. 2013. I was there as it was being rebuilt in April 2014.
