From today, our weekly reports focus on both Russian and Coalition actions in Syria. Oct 15-21: While we again saw no local claims of harm from Russian strikes, we tracked 4 major alleged Coalition events, reportedly killing between 33 and 151 civilians: https://www.facebook.com/1625357681040688/photos/a.1647723435470779/2177903129119471/ …pic.twitter.com/587eJZngzz

For the first time since 2014 according to
@snhr, more civilians were killed in the last month in Syria by US-led Coalition forces (43) than by any other named party to the conflict - including the Assad regime: http://sn4hr.org/blog/2018/11/01/52808/ …pic.twitter.com/9kAninGu5KThanks. A year after the Syrian city of Raqqa's alleged liberation from ISIS, conditions remain rife for breeding "radicalization." But President Trump's "only plan for Raqqa appears to be to exacerbate those unstable conditions,” writes Laila Ujayli https://buff.ly/2DcIi8s .

Overnight,
@CENTCOM issued a statement confirming its SDF partners have paused an offensive against ISIS remnants "in response to cross border attacks by Turkey against SDF positions in Northern Syria." Syria: Once again our researchers tracked no local civilian harm claims against Russian forces as the Idlib ceasefire holds. But as
@Abdultahhan notes, Coalition strikes continue at Hajin - with between 8 and 41 civilians alleged killed in the last week: https://www.facebook.com/1625357681040688/photos/a.1647723435470779/2182003638709420/ …pic.twitter.com/x4ziDlNi5vThanks. Syria: The US-led Coalition's proxies the SDF have 'temporarily halted' their offensive against ISIS in the Hajin pocket - blaming not their recent heavy losses, but Turkish actions to the north:http://www.rudaw.net/english/middleeast/syria/311020183 …
