I think they're just asking, as a business to keep the it off the announcement.
As a business they decided to wish toxic people luck and ask that no one be mad about that That ain't happening chief
Sometimes it's best to just do what needs to be done and be the bigger person by parting with someone positively rather than shit flinging. There is a certain amount of professionalism businesses need to take. Even when dealing with someone shitty.
You can cut ties without wishing them luck. Literally all that needed to be done was not say the third tweet. Tell people affected where to go and end it there
I don't feel like this company needs to be crucified for taking a high ground. Could they have kept that out? Sure. But they've done a good thing by dropping them. Personally, I admire the professionalism they've displayed in a very sensitive situation.
