A 19-year-old dual American Israeli living in Ashkelon has been arrested, suspected of being behind most of a series of bomb and other threats to Jewish communities in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand that date back around six months, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

As of Thursday, with a gag order on the probe being lifted by the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court at the same time it extended his detention to March 30, sources indicate that most of the threats against the Diaspora communities and organizations led investigators back to Israel.

Jewish man arrested after spray painting swastikas on his own home in Upstate NY

A Jewish man in Upstate NY was jailed on Monday for falsely reporting racist vandalism to police. Now, Andrew King, 54, of Schenectady, is facing a charge of Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree after police determined that he spray painted three swastikas on his home.

King originally reported that an unknown individual vandalized his home on February 10, WRGB-TV reported.

A family business dispute is said to have driven a Jewish man to make anti-Semitic hate calls to elderly women - including his mother - and paint swastikas on their doors.

David Haddad, 56, of Manhattan, New York, was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated assault as a hate crime.

Haddad allegedly snarled down the phone: 'All Jews should die and go to hell,' when he called his mother, 80, on December 11.

3 charged in Pikesville vandalism

A 19-year-old member of Baltimore Hebrew Congregation was being held yesterday after being charged in connection with the spray-painting of a swastika and the word “Nazis” at the synagogue in Pikesville.

Matthew Ian Saunders, whose family worships at the temple, and two other young Jewish men – Daniel Alexander Diaz, 19, and a 17-year-old who was not identified by police – were charged with two counts of destruction of property and damaging the property of a religious entity.

Woman Charged In Swastika Graffiti Spree

A woman admitted shortly after her arrest late Monday that she spray-painted swastikas in Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens because she was angry about her Jewish ex-husband’s new wife, police said.

The woman, Olga Abramovich, 49, of Brooklyn, was charged with criminal mischief and related crimes, police said.

Police said Abramovich admitted targeting about 20 sites, including several synagogues, because she was angry at her former husband for marrying a younger woman. They said she also marred two police cars because she was upset about receiving a summons.
