    It's a problem of the administration's own making. The kind of change they're talking about in the nature of 's statecraft requires the removal of the Islamic Republic. But there is no indication they are willing to put the resources or risk into such an enterprise.

    SecState Pompeo often says US policy toward Iran is about changing behavior not regime change. But here's a quote from his interview with Laura Ingraham: "We want to restore democracy there. We think the Iranian people want that same thing."
