    It's also a copypasta. Censoring the name to make it look more exclusive is just a trick. Multiple people are posting it. Arab SDF are NOT splitting from the Kurdish SDF. That is ridiculous.

    The only excuse for the SDF pausing the offensive is if they really were going to use entirely YPG units to do this battle. Which was not the case. The YPG has enough fighters to maintain a fight on two fronts.

    Preventing Daesh from burning oil fields and continuing to cause them to take casualties is important. ISIS takes the most losses from direct clashes and every bullet fired is one less they can't replenish without raiding.

    In recent weeks, several hundred SDF fighters have been trained. These green units can easily replace the losses in Deir ez Zor. The complete halt of this operation in a mistake and efforts to maintain control of the entire border should be maintained.
