~Thread on extreme NSFW~ CW: Everything? In light of…recent furry events…I've been thinking of structuring a lecture on the nature of creating/disseminating taboo art subjects. I normally leave it to passing inference in my published talks, but that's not enough anymore.pic.twitter.com/FkhkTLDBPz

Thanks sincerely for sharing these feelings, friend. It's been a while. Something I noticed in the fandom is that there isn't a designated platform where people can share their personal experiences without feeling judged. I'm pretty inclusive on my platforms. Funnily enough…
-
This blew up in my face when I allowed every Al7Furry into one of my open groups, so they could share their personal experiences. Of course, they shat all over it and didn't share themselves, tried farming data, and I had to shut the whole thing down. But on the flipside…
-
A good handful of my pretty close friends and regulars in my groups are furries that many would deem untouchables (no AFs, just alternative tastes). I don't allow their imagery into my platforms, but they have the space in my platforms to say where their feelings come from.
-
I've seen what you've seen—people pushing others away for not being willing to learn their context—and I refuse to be another "Gross, bye" to them. I won't do commissions for them, but they belong in my online family if they are willing to love my friends and love themselves.
-
I try not to publicize all this too often, but I hope this helps you understand me better. I don't want my tastes in accepting commissions to be read as my taste in relationships. I'm proud of the diversity in my group, but I can't summarize that easily for others.

One more response specifically to how true your tweet is, please check out this clip I made about just this topic of art:https://youtu.be/wDRNE0-9dXA?t=3036 …

I'm at work right now but I'll answer this when I can

It's just something that's entirely unfair to expect of others, asking them to explain the depths of art fantasy and challenging their interests. We aren't therapists, and it doesn't feel like healing or health/safety are being focused with this mindset.
-
If u create a safe space for a client and they KNOW what u are about they will not even bat an eye to those questions. If they are they really never thought more deeply about their self. We have enough empty fapable and destructive art
-
I didn't answer you yesterday because I didn't reply to Jonathan as an open discussion for others to get involved, I'm not going to just because you start again 24hrs later

Hmm as a professional in the mentalhealth area this sound like the "don't ask depressed people of they are thinking on taking their lives cos they may do it or so and so" u can ask people about their motivations to want something and partially...
-
Spetially * if u are working in the safe vulnerable space that John creates around his art. Jonathan is being a responsible content creator cos HE KNOWS the power of what is he creating
-
By the way. It's okay to ask suicidal people and depressed if they have thinned of killing themselves or have attempted to do it. Is a must ask actually. As u can ask about a extreme fetish and make people go in introspection about it

He is not judging he is inviting people to think. He is not kink shaming or anything he wants to be sure he is not hurting more or making worst something. He is using emphaty and responsibility toward his client
