    The peaceful transfer of power in a nation surrounded by countries ruled by ruthless monarchs, dictators and clerics is a sight to behold. has come a long way from the days of the genocidal despot Saddam. The road ahead is still long and arduous but the foundations are set.

    The 2019 draft maintains the KRG’s share at 12.67%. It was finance minister who initially introduced the 17% figure during the interim government. With Fuad Hussein now at the helm I’d be shocked if they don’t revert to 17%
