This October was the most 2018 of 2018. It kicked off with the barbaric murder of Jamal Khashoggi and ended with the election of a bigot as the president of Brazil. And rise of far right terrorism in the US in between. Nope, the world is not fine.

Combine a few yrs of economic, social, and political crisis and every society will become ripe for sectarianism and, ultimately, fascism. Democracies last longer under pressure, and have more procedural and institutional fail-safes. But they are not immune. No society is.

Important: Since mid- case, pro-gov & nationalist accounts, often associated w Saud al-Qahtani who was sacked, were *slightly* quieter. Now, out in full force, with smear campaign against a columnist after column critical of “flies” on Twitter.

The UK should be applauded for taking the dangers of the far right both violent and non violent seriously. The West has no time to lose. The far right should be dealt with as a mutation of 20th century fascism and crushed before it gets too powerful.

Far right terrorism has only grown stronger since then. And the terrorists’ demands have grown to become political strands. And the apologists of far right terrorists have become more aggressive. Yesterday’s attack on Pittsburgh Jews was most recent act of far right terrorism.

When the terrorist was arrested, he told the police that there are other attacks on the way and if his demands were not met, the attacks will continue! His demand were a complete ban on immigration!

‘22 July’ on Netflix is a must watch. It tells about one of the most horrific massacres in the recent history of Europe. It depicts in graphic detail how Andrew Berwick a far right terrorist killed tens of innocent teenagers while shouting ‘death to Marxists’!

Why certain people are bothered when it is revealed that the Pittsburgh terrorist targeted the Jewish worshippers because he believed they were helping Muslims and refugees? This is a FACT! And it doesn’t make the attack any less anti-Semitic.

Robert Bowers held both antisemitic and anti-Muslim views. Jews, he believed, were helping Muslims sneak into the country and were threatening the white race. A reminder that and in America both draw from the well of white supremacy.

Muslims throughout the West should embrace their Jewish brothern and not only as a tactic i.e minorities common interest but as a principle. Regardless of what one thinks of Israel, that should never play a role in one's defence of the Jews without ifs and buts.

No amount of spinning and demagogy hides the fact that both in the past and in the present time, as recent as yesterday, the worst anti-Semitic attacks have been inflicted by racist white supremacists from Hitler to yesterday's terrorist.

Certain parts of the far right have been working on using rise of anti-Semitism in the West to scapegoat against refugees linking, without any evidence, this rise to 'influx of Muslim refugees'. The truth of the matter is anti-Semitism is first and foremost a far right problem.

Those who do not have the audacity of calling the perpetrators of yesterday's attack by name resort to making swiping generalisations. They know talking about white is tolerated but naming the far right is politically expensive and implicates Trump too!

The majority of what is called 'white people' are partners against white supremacy and racism. Actually, the majority of the most vocal voices against white supremacy and racism in general are from the white. White bashing is racist, stupid and counter productive.
