    Want to add on to this. All of eastern Susah up towards the mosque that was recently bombed by the coalition. To my knowledge the SDF have not captured that

    All of eastern is under control . has retaken positions in the west of the town and there is heavy fighting there now. All maps I've been able to find of the current situation are incorrect as positions are changing quite rapidly.

    Honestly the confusion with names in this area sucks.

    The SDF captured Hawi al Soussa village. Which apparently is the point on wikimapia marked "Zahra". There was confusion in that getting captured.

    Lots of M2 Brownings on these vehicles. Probably taken from the NSA offensive that failed or from raids against Iraqi positions

    Some shots of the plethora of improvised armored vehicles has been using to defend against the offensive in southern Deir ez-Zor.

    are still burning tires and crude oil in an attempt to obscure and prevent bombing. They are still trying to bring reinforcements to but they've largely been pushed out. Expect an announcement on liberation soon.
