About The Journal
Advanced Materials Letters is an international scientific journal that publishes the peer-reviewed research papers on the latest work of material science from June 2010. The journal deals with the broad area of material science, particularly in the area of the structure, synthesis and processing, characterization, advanced-state properties, and applications of materials. The journal, which provides an international publication platform for the broad spectrum of issues regarding theoretical and experimental advancements in materials science and engineering, publishes 12 issues per year. The journal specializes in molecular device materials, biomimetic materials, hybrid-type composite materials, functionalized polymers, superamolecular systems, information- and energy-transfer materials, bio- based and bio- degradable (environmental friendly) materials etc. at macro and nano levels.
The journal focuses mainly in the interests of scientists and engineers from academia and industry, who are participating in the materials engineering. The materials engineering is the specific branch of engineering that deals with the functional properties like thermal, electric, magnetic, optical and biological with the materials. The materials science and engineering is needed for the development of a wide range of smart, biocompatible and biodegradable materials for the food, adhesives, drug delivery, tissue engineering, gene delivery, biosensor, structural and other applications. The journal includes all sorts of publications on the subject, like review articles, research articles, notes and short communications.
The peer-review and proofread editing is expected to be completed within the three months and the online version will be published immediately. The journal can be subscribed on yearly or per volume basis after paying subscription fee.
