[CSA] To make my position clear: sexualizing children in any way is unquestionably wrong. CP/ loli/ cub porn/ etc is unacceptable. Predators use that material to normalize abuse when grooming children online. But an adult sitting there with a coloring book isn’t hurting anyone.

I 100% don't support cub porn, but in fairness on your last point, I've seen a lot of people SAY "it's used for grooming" as a point, but when I ask for specifics, no one can ever seem to give me concrete studies that show that happening with any great frequency.

With grooming the thing is it's kind of impossible to give irrefutable proof without exposing deep personal trauma and most victims would rather not expose themselves for the sake of an internet argument

Okay, I can accept that and sympathize, but at the same time, that isn't *actionable* - "This happens and you just have to take my word for it" is not a good precedent for shunning people from the community. People who draw/buy that stuff aren't doing it for that purpose.

And to be clear, I get that it's an uncomfortable topic to discuss. I'm a babyfur artist (I don't draw cub porn), and it's hard to talk about because it IS such a contentious thing. I have *visceral* disgust at that type of porn - but I also know something of its consumers.

It didn’t escalate/ result in harm or trauma for me personally, but it’s one tool that they can employ to manipulate kids.

it's also just not good psychology. There have been studies on ABDLs and they all come to the conclusion that adults who fetishize being a baby are into adults who sexualize the dom aspect. Just like furs tend to be protective of animals, ABDLs are often very protective of kids.

ABDL has a closer connection to BDSM than pedophilia, and it's absolutely a coping mechanism for people who have been traumatized and want the security of feeling young again.

Many CSA victims also develop these sorts of fetishes whether they want to or not. Many of them due to being hurt use things like cub porn as an outlet that otherwise only exists as real children. You've missed the point of turning against victims by kicking these people out.

I think there's a lot of confusion over babyfur as a fetish and babyfur as a community. People latch onto the overtly sexualized side of cub porn and ageplay so they're blind to the deeper reasons behind littles.

Yeah. Well said tbh. I have such mixed feelings with “call out culture” as of late because its origins had noble intent (and many instances still do), and then it split into another form that has ignorance and ill-intent as the fuel i.e. many innocent people are being slandered

Thank you for speaking up! I don't know the right answer for this. But the attacks are not helping. We all know a babyfur who is just trying to get by. Most do not advertise it and in my experience there is a good chance you know someone who is secretly a babyfur or little.

Being a fun furry animal is a childish thing for many people due to growing up watching cartoon and the reasona for a big overlap into the furry fandom is not hard to see at all.
