At a recent turn of events it just so happens that I'm in the states while ANE is going on and I'm pretty close! So we decided to book a hotel and I'll be rooming with my fiance and my friend  lexipup! I'll be helping her at her table sometimes when she needs a break, and if you want a free sketch when I'm not busy just come hit me up! I'm just curious what kind of merch are you interested in? If you've had a table before, what sold the fastest/easiest?
Where can I get fully custom orders like http://inkedfur.com? Are there any artists out there that take custom orders on things like prints, or websites that print on many style of shirt? Where can I buy bulk custom stickers, or make enamel pins? Where can I get custom plushes made? Is it worth it to make your own products or to buy them pre-made/custom from a wholesale supplier? |

first of all if you went to furnal equinox this year I was also there but I was REALLY undercover just to test the waters... I wanted to make some custom lanyards similar to this but I can't find any when i search on google?
Also any sites that can do mass printing for cheap and great quality; I'm looking for quality and affordability... I don't rreally want to be making merch on standard t-shirts and would prefer different styles of custom clothing as well; are there any sites for that? Or custom embroidered hats?

Hey fellas!
I hope you're excited as I am that 2016 is FINALLY over! It's been a hell of a year for the most of us, but we made it so that's saying something. For those still struggling, I hope you find your inner strength this year to pull through and do what makes you happy!
I have found a new place to live with the help of my friends and extremely generous people, and I could not be happier. I have a lot of damage to fix, as I realize my blunders in the past 3 years, but I'm just very happy I am out of it now and doing me again. I plan on helping many people, but for now I have to work on moving into my apartment.
I really want to continue with my plan for chromophile.NET and provide free tutorials for the growing artist, as well as a wealth of information not teaching you what to think, but how to think. I have faith that this is something I can follow through with the right help. I've really figured out what I want for this world and I can't do it alone. I tried to do that for too long, and now I see where I messed up.
A wolf needs their pack and I'm ready to come back to whoever will accept me. I'm very sorry for how unprofessional or immature I have acted, but please know that I did have my own issues and insecurities that I had to work out. I am with a great, supportive, and loving group of friends now that made me realize how important this all is, so I really hope I can make it up to you guys because you've done more than enough for me.
Now it's my turn. I just need the help to get started.
I hope your New Years celebrations were a blast and you kicked off the year right with the people you love, whether it's your friends, your family, or yourself.

I'm currently looking for a job and roommate in Ottawa, but I need some help financially to help me get there. my self-esteem has been destroyed to a point where I need a break from art and another source of income where I can be sociable and happy, because i've been doing it alone for too long and it's run me down hard, especially with no support from the relationship i was in, which is why I havent been doing a lot of art for the past couple years.

Hey guys! I finally updated chromophile.NET with my portfolio, blog, and a couple (currently) open commission applications, sketches and wing-its. :)
I'm here right now to ask you all though, what kind of tutorials would you like to see? And, if you had any questions about art, what may they be?
I'm sure a fair bit of us are upset over what's happening to the world when we try to promote peace and love, and somehow a hateful extremist finds their way to power. I want now more than ever to give back what I can, and so every tutorial on chromophile.NET will be free for everyone to access; to promote the growth of artists who will fight back against the hate with nothing but love. I know it's hard to do, when we're faced with worry and complete dehumanization, but hate has never beat hate. Not everyone will agree with me, as many of us are extremely angry and emotions are high, but I urge us all now to put that energy to positive influence, positive reinforcement, and make ourselves a healing nation of people.
So please, ask away any questions about art that would help enrich you and others. If you may, please leave a comment here in this journal, or use the comment section in my site on the tutorial page, here.
I'm finally at a stage where I feel confident in my artistic ability to give back to the community that's helped me support myself and my passion; although there's been extremely emotionally draining and hurtful moments here for me, I still feel the need to support people who want to love, show love, and accept everyone. At least, that is what I believe in us. I don't want to believe that we're hateful. I want to believe that we are strong. Stronger than hate. Stronger than love. Stronger than anything that stands against us. I want to believe that we fight for truth and peace for all, even if they hurt us, we can show the world that we won't stop fighting for what is right; the right to be who we are.
So, with that, I'm hoping that offering some of my insight into the pool of artistic information you can learn from, you can learn something for yourself; something you like to do, something that heals you and the people who see your creations. I'm not everyone's inspiration, but I just hope to put information out there that enriches you and helps you learn what you want and don't want in your artwork.
I hope teaching art by my perspective will help the young and old feel more confident in displaying their message. We all have one, we all have a voice, and now is the best time more than ever to share our art and voice with the world.

Sorry, I missed the kiriban though; life's still a mess for me but I'm trying as hard as I can to clean it up! Thank you for being patient with me until I return from hiatus. Life's being about as lifey as it can with it's ups and downs with me right now and i'm just rolling on the coaster trying not to scream LOL
In the meantime, I am working on my website for a gallery and a separate place for me to do my work comfortably. :D I CAN'T WAIT. It's coming along slowly but wonderfully. I'm still hammering out all the details though so it may be a while before it's full public launch, but I'm hoping by the end of this year.

Been on the road to a better future since you guys helped me out so I'm starting to really rethink everything and make things concrete. I just turned 24 the other day and the need to stop wasting my time has taken a hold of me.
Prices are going to change, I'll update with a new journal once the changes are made.
The reason for this is that for the past 2-3 years, I've wanted to get professionally better at my art through self-teaching. This has caused me to slow down my work immensely: where I used to do amateur work, complete in 2 hours, now takes me 5-10 hours to complete. I've been making under minimum wage for 2 years because of low self-esteem with my art and thinking I could still do work in 2 hours, charging 200$ that takes me 20 hours to complete isn't flying with me any more and has actually made me quite depressed. I just didn't know how to change them because I'm not greedy, but my work has slowed down considerably, as well as being aesthetically better, so I took some time to think about the changes I'm going to make here for it to be fair for myself and you, because doing art is my dream job and I don't want to hate it like I have. (It felt like a waste of time and non-profitable.)
Plus, I think I'm well established enough of an artist here. My work will be carried on through here, but things are going to start shifting onto my website, chromophile.net.

It makes me uncomfortable that so many people want my attention so it's caused me to appear to be stuck-up and snobbish but really I'm just sorry I don't have the energy to keep up with everyone. I am really busy, and my art and work comes first. Same with my health and leisure time... It's hard to find time in the day to sit down and chat. I'm active on twitter mostly now, usually posting streams and sketches there because it's a little more quiet and people don't demand so much of me (it feels!).
