Its horribly misleading if you were saying it to just calm kero and isnt helping them. Its meaning was to disregard the outrage of furries toward this situation. Something that we constantly tell people that "no we arent animal fuckers." Its dangerous to play devils advocate.

He was saying it hoping Kero would spill more or he was trying to get him more comfortable otherwise he'd have close up like a hedgehog. Nobody does off-hand comments unless you're in a sitcom or saying it (not texting) to a friend for a joke. "Whoops my fingers slipped"
