Simply knowing that you have an attraction to children warrants professional help. There is no healthy way that the attraction can survive in our society. If you have an attraction like that, the only moral thing to do is stamp it out.

Or maybe you should stop making excuses. Even in the link that you posted, they still mention that pedophiles need to be dealt with in order to prevent crime. Saying that pedophilia is a slippery slope is not wrong, as evidenced by your own source.

And pedophilia is not child sexual abuse, it is attraction, attraction that is not present in two-thirds of sexual abuse cases. There are already programs that assist pedophiles, like Prevention Project Dunkelfeld.

Did I say pedophilia is child sexual abuse? I agreed with you that it's the attraction. My reasoning is that pedophilia is, ultimately, something to remove, or at least suppress, not something to simply accept, since, according to your source, it will prevent crime.
