A few simple facts about the Khashoggi affair. 1) By now it looks increasingly likely that Khashoggi is no longer alive, and it is also likely that Saudi intel agents were involved in his death. But: 2) We don't know much by way of hard fact. Was he tortured & killed?
Was he administered a drug that with the wrong dosage? Did he have a heart attack? There are any number of scenarios, which if anyone who's ever watched a spy movie can spin out. 3) Everything we know about the episode, we know from the Turkish security services & press.
They might be telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That has happened in the past. But they also might be lying. That has also happened in the past. 4) The one thing that I do know for sure is that Turkey and Qatar are at odds with KSA.
The Khashoggi affair, that is to say, is working to the advantage of the Turks against the Saudis at this moment, a fact that surely is not lost on Erdogan's intel agents and friendly press as they pass on lurid details of Khashoggi's demise. I suspect it is no accident that

Maybe or maybe since Erdogon is tight with The MB and they hate the Saudis and the US and want to drive a wedge between the west and the Saudis they are pushing this story and the guy is alive and in hiding because he is a MB member who also hates the Saudis royal family
The Turks have no hard evidence..all what they have is leaks and stories that keep changing every day. American newsrooms sadly doesn’t care about facts anymore. It seems they are vey happy to have the Trump-Saudi relation as a subject before the November election.

This makes sense. I’m of the belief that KSA is reforming, and are a legit ally. Turkey and Qatar are bad actors. As is the Muslim Brotherhood.
