The disappearance of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Consulate-General of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul needs to be unraveled. Saudi officials should certainly clarify what happened to Mr. Khashoggi.

Blaming Turkish authorities is a blatant slander when Khashoggi has visited Turkey for various reasons and been living safe and secure in Turkey for an extended period of time.

The fate of Khashoggi is a test for the whole world with respect to freedom of expression and the press. Punishing a citizen just because of his/her critical views is incompatible with any human values.

Of all people, you have no right to make such claims. During your leadership in Turkey, numerous media outlets were seized and shut, dozens of journalists were arrested. #Hypocrisy

Well! Well! Well! That’s a good speech mr. Davutoglu! But can I make question? What do you think about jailed Turkish journalists, academics, 704 babies with their moms and more than 70 thousand people in jail? They’re also jailed because of their critical opinion. #Hypocrisy
