    This piece is... very confused. The underlying theory on 's NW strategy vis-a-vis is wildly inaccurate & much of the detail underpinning it is just imprecise/false. There are serious reasons for concern re. 's fate - best to stick to accuracy though.

    raided Kafra Halab in western today - some say they sought to detain accused “reconcilers,” others said they were targeting an cell. ended up attacking a local (Zinki) HQ, with fighting lasting 4hrs+ 3 people were killed.
