Some of the maps I published on Twitter so far. My maps cover the topics of conflicts and ethnicity in the MENA region with a special focus on the Kurdish struggle for freedom.

Reports claim that there are heavy clashes and airstrikes in Hajin. There are airstrikes in the town, but the frontline is still at the northern suburb Tall Sunbul.

A new name on the map is az-Zahra', which is the name of the settlement expansion area east of as-Susah. I previously called it Susah al-Jadidah (new Susah) on the map because of lack of the real name.

I've written dozens of threads in the past months, but here's what's happening in Brazil, in a very brief explanation 48% of the population has voted for a far-right presidential candidate who has glorified torturers, disregards human rights, and believes women should earn less

Really interesting which kind of people are congratulating Nadia Murad. Even Barzanis decide to act like they care about Êzîdîs, while KDP Peshmerga abandoned them in Şingal, harrassed Êzîdîs when it was freed again and did literally everything to make their life unbearable.

Apparently, an IED blast in a remote area against the same military which razes cities, burns children in basements, and runs heinous sex trafficking rings in territory seized in wars of aggression—led by an aspiring despot who orders attacks on US citizens on US soil—is “brutal”

German secretary of state congratulates Nadia Murad. Lacks honesty, as Germany does nothing to help Êzîdî survivors in Mesopotamia or rebuild Şingal and even delivered weapons to Turkey which attacked Êzîdî defensive militias by air shelling.
