So, a while ago it was suggested to me that perhaps I could make some prints of work (obviously not commission works) and sell them at Conventions.
I was wondering if anyone whose been to furry cons, especially in the UK, would be able to tell me about what kinds of things they've seen artists selling there or if there's anyone who has sold their work at furry conventions any information about this kind of thing would be really really helpful!
It's something I want to eventually do at some point.

So, I've started university again now. Luckily I only have to go in three days a week, and one of those days is a half day starting at 2pm since it's just lecture and seminar. The other two days are studio days.
Unfortunately I was away for the studio voting, so I didn't get into the studio I would have preferred (Crafting Narrative) and got put into Graphic Intentions instead. Which is more about advertising and Marketing. Which I have no interest in but oh well it's my own fault for missing the voting day.
It's always tough for me when I have to work on something I have no interest in. But it is for everyone I guess. And everyone has to do work they don't want to do at some points in their life. So I just have to make the most of it and work hard and ask for help when I need it instead of just hiding myself away and working on things I DO want to do instead, like I usually do (oops lol)
On a more fun note, JAPAN MATSURI THIS WEEKEND!!
Japan Matsuri is a Japanese festival in Trafalgar Square, central London.

I've always wanted to go but haven't had a chance until this year. I'm super looking forwards to it! Even if I am constantly running low on money xD
All my commission money gets put into my savings account now, and will be used to pay for my trip to Japan next summer since that's something I've wanted for years and I have a head start on saving due to my inheritance. I aim to have around £3500 to work with when I go, including to pay for travel, accommodation and food.
Anyway, Once I've finished this other auction piece and the last AT pic (which is half done, oops) I'll be opening commissions for 5 slots (one is already taken). So keep an eye out for the journal which will be about that~

- I only take 5 commissions at a time.
- Right I accept adult commissions ONLY. (NSFW)
- I can only accept payment via PAYPAL.
- WORK ON COMMISSIONS MAY BE LIVESTREAMED. Though you can tell me if you don't want that.
- I will draw female or male characters. HOWEVER I will not draw them if they're too masculine. please look at my previous work to see how masculine I can draw characters.
- If the commission contains themes I dislike I may decline it.
- no more than 3 characters per image.
I WILL DRAW:
Most fetishes, male on male sex, female on female sex, femboys, ect. If you're not sure if I will draw something, ask and I'll let you know!
I WILL NOT DRAW:
heterosexual sex, cubs, female genitalia, herms, futa, vore, gore, scat, hyper, macro, muscled males, water sports, my little pony characters, fat furs (nothing against them just can't draw high weight characters), transformation.
Please keep it professional. I don't need to hear your life story, I can't fix your broken relationship with art, I do have my own problems to deal with and I can't fix yours. I'm not a psychiatrist.

Terms of Service
Art Usage
In a commissioned piece, I own all rights to the artwork (but not the character).
You, as the commissioner, are permitted to:
- Post the commissioned work to your FA or other website, giving credit to be as the artist wherever possible, with a link to my FA profile.
- Use the commissioned work as an avatar, giving credit wherever possible.
- Print the commissioned work for your personal use.
- Use the commissioned work as a badge, credit card background, or other personal item.
- Use the commissioned work commercially IF this has been discussed with me and I agree to it/have given permission.
You, as the commissioner (and anybody else) are not permitted to:
- Use the work commercially in any way without prior permission. This includes selling prints, merchandise, books, CDs, featuring the art. A licensing fee may be required before you can use the art commercially.
I will never use commissioned work for commercial purposes (prints, merchandise, etc) -- except when I have permission from the commissioner, or for "collections" of work (both commissioned and non-commissioned) in the format of a portfolio or art book.
Payment
Payment is to be made upfront for commissions under £20. Commissions worth £20 and over have the option to pay all upfront or half upfront and half after the sketch has been shown.
At the moment I only accept Paypal for all clients. I will send you a paypal invoice upon accepting the commission which must be paid within 24 hours or your slot will be given to someone else. Please have payment ready at the time of commissioning me.
Deadlines
If you have a specific deadline you need the work done by please let me know at the commissioning stage and I can complete it by the deadline. However this depends on my current work load.
There is a list in the footer of my journal on the status of each commission. University work is more important than commissions and will always come first which may create delays.
Refunds
Refunds (full or partial) will only be given if:
- The commissioner requests a refund after 1 month of waiting for their commission to be completed. (the exception being if there is a que of 5 or more people in front of them.)
- The commissioner is genuinely unhappy with their commission (a partial refund will be given, or the work re-done) (specific reasons must be given)
- I cannot complete the commission for whatever reason, whether it be personal, lack of skill, or a difficult commissioner to work with (a full refund will be given).
I have the right to cancel a commission and give a full refund at any time for any reason.
Sketches/WIPs
Unless absolutely necessary, WIPs will not be sent to commissioners as this slows down production. The exceptions are - if the commissioner requests, or if I am unsure of something. I can take WIPs while I work and send them in bulk at the end. I prefer making changes once the piece is completed.
I will only send sketches for approval before payment.
Fixes
If you are genuinely unhappy with your commission as a whole, please discuss this with me before giving negative feedback and I'll see what I can do.
On Sketches:
When I show you the finished sketch you MUST tell me about any mistakes, additions or other things you need to.
You can have ONE total restart. This means that if you really don't like the sketch I can re-do it completely but only once.
On Final Images:
In final images I can do MINOR colour revisions only. I can not add extra props, lineart or tattoos.
Communication
I can be reached via notes, or emailed at orewakei[at]gmail.com (note that this is NOT my paypal address).
I am usually very prompt with communication, however if you do not receive a reply straight away, please wait at least 5 days before emailing again (unless you have something to add or wish to speak about a different subject).

in 4 days time I'll be home again and then i will be updating ALL my commission information.
this will include a new price sheet, new commission form and a terms of service journal.
from then on i will just link to the tos if I'm asked a question that is answeres there. and any commission forms not filled out correctly will be denied.
this is because I'll be starting a new year at university and i need to save as much time as possible dealing with the commissioning process so i can balance commissions and uni work. prices are increasing for this reason as well.
once all that is done and updated, i will then and only then open up 5 commission slots so if you're interested in a commission please look out for a 'commissions open' journal from me!!

From later today (Sept 16th) I'm going to be away in Germany for two weeks and will return on the 27th September. I wont be taking my laptop with me so I wont be able to do any digital art, though i might sketch some stuff. However I'm gonna be super busy so probably not much.
I wont have much (if any) access to the internet for those two weeks.
so I guess I'll see you all when I come back!

So, on the 14th I'll be moving back to my student dorm and on the 16th I'm going off to Germany for two weeks and it's unlikely I'll have time/internet and wont be able to do commissions.
I'll definitely have my current commissions finished before i move next week so don't worry about that.
I just wont be opening commissions until I return from Germany on the 27th
I may do a couple of YCH auctions before I go so if you really want a commission off me you could always go for that.
If not, I'm happy to add your name to my updates list and I'll note you when commissions are open again. Just note me and tell me if you wanted to be added to that list.

well, looks like it was just one of those weird pains i get sometimes.
My hand is totally fine now (well it's still a little achey but besides that)

It seems like i've hurt my drawing hand somehow... it hurts to move my fingers too much.
this means that until i've worked out if I HAVE hurt it (idk sometimes my body just hurts randomly) I wont be able to draw much (if at all) and then if I HAVE injured my hand I wont be able to draw properly until it's healed...
but lets wait and see if it's even injured yet.
i'll see if it still hurts tomorrow...
but i've been having trouble with my hand recently. it's been feeling weak and like i don't have as much precise control as usual. it's really frustrating but at least I can still draw like that. but right now I can't even hold a pen properly ( ; A ;)
so just bare with me if you've commissioned me. I'll let you know tomorrow if it Is injured or if it was just random temporary pain. (;> A <)

Usually I'd be further on with commissions than I am right now.
I've had to be at work more days than usual the past two weeks due to covering my mums shifts while she looked after my sis and her newborn. (yeh me and my mum work at the same shop lol.)
I've been totally exhausted when i get home and usually go straight to bed.
the good news is, she'll be back at work next week so I wont have to cover for her so I'll only be working two afternoons a week again. meaning i can get work on commissions doe a good deal faster!
Sorry for any delays and i'll do my best to work extra hard and fast on the stuff I owe!!

I'm going to germany for two weeks in september.
i just booked the flights.
i was going to fly to dussledorf but to make it easier for my friends to pick me up i'll be flying to dortmund.
but this means i have to use a different airline company, and fly from an awkward to get to airport.
also i was going to go on a friday but now i have to go the monday after due to that beeing the same weekend i need to move into my dorm. which means it's apparently more for them to pick me up. so I'll be paying for the price difference.
i'll also be missing a convention i wanted to go to... which means i can't meet one of my friends who has been looking forward to meeting me... but for the sake of my sanity and stress levels it can't be helped.
but this has made one of my friends I'm staying with angry at me...
i hate it when people are angry at me... now i'm totally miserable... and stressed...
i wish these things were simpler.
i doubt I'll be going to germany again unless LM.C are playing there. -sigh-
all this on top of a bunch of other stressful things going on...
i honestly feel like i'm just going to break under the stress...
dunno what to do to make myself less stressed really.

So, I have to do 3 sets of typologies. which is, a set of things that have something in common. for example, for one of the sets I'm doing Gundam heads. They're all different but they're all gundams. for another one I did phone charms. all different but all for hanging off your phone.
I have to do two more. And need a little help thinking of subjects.
I need to do 9 images for each set.
It has to be some kind of item, so nothing living.
I have to be able to get good reference pictures of these items to draw from.
So if you have any suggestions for subjects, please help me out and leave a comment!!
