Sets over! And yes I'm a real DJ ^^ I used to work in clubs until I my life changed too much. I hope to get back into it, but until then, I usually do a weekly set at Second Life's Furzona from 1 to 3 AM central standard time.

It's really getting to me that some people see me as a narcissistic greedy asshole. My previous post got slammed with comments telling me how awful I am for repeating something the artist him/herself told me. I've also had issues in the past where people jump my ass for saying something isn't perfect.

I am REALLY passionate about furry art. I believe that every piece should be put out with the artist's best efforts and love put into it. All artists should be looking to improve and when an artist blows up at me for saying the torso is too long, the muzzle looks too feline for a fox, etc. it really irritates me. Every art piece has room for improvement and when I give my thoughts (both good and bad) which I thought what comments are for, some artists will thank me greatly and others will block me.

I don't care if I didn't pay anything or if I paid $120 for it, if the artist didn't enjoy doing the pic and didn't put at least par effort for it, I'm not going to like it. I want people to draw my character and friends because they want to. Not because they want to get more watchers or because they have an electric bill to pay... that's what real jobs are for. I understand artists deserve to make money, but the customer's paying the money also deserve good art.

I know this journal might be flamed. I didn't mention any names so I hope you all won't either. I'm just getting frustrated that people are judging me negatively. I know I have trouble expressing myself sometimes... but at least I do it.

So lately I've had some strand of Bronchitis and mainly sleep, sometimes eat, and listen to music. I do not feel productive at all and I've been this way for two weeks now. I have no plans for Halloween because I'm out in the boonies and don't have good transportation so just sitting at home with my family and watching chick flicks and such because I can't stand scary moves D: I'm still jobless and resisting the urge to buy commissions, but damn that's hard! I need to save money for I guess keeping heavy enough to not blow away in a breeze.

Also I did want to clear things up about my account. My name is Sangie and Toboe is my old name. I am too lazy to move everything and rewatch all 500 people or so and repost everything.

Also, Inkbunny.net is awesome. It's like iTunes for furry art lol. They need a better payment system (charging you a fee to pay for items is silly) but I love that they sell high-resolution art. Sometimes I feel like one of the only furs who wants printable art, but i do. Plus the artists make money and have to do no work except upload a pic! Hi all. I first wanted to let you all know that I'm still in Texas and everything is going fairly well. I'm still working at trying to get a job thing, but other than that, still better than what the past few years have been.

I did want to inform you all that today is my birthday! I know most of you didn't know or forgot. And due to that, I guess I should've given some notice lol. Sorry about that...

Well I'm not asking for gift certificates to Rabbitvalley.com or anything but just some happy birthday wishes would be nice ^_^ Although I guess I just hinted such gift certificates would be nice though XD I probably didn't do anything for your birthday though so don't worry about it :p

Anyways I'm holding in here! It sucks to be nearing 30 with my life still in disarray but hopefully I can get more stabilized before then. Hope you all are doing well and talk to you all soon =)

Well, I finally did it. I pulled enough strings at the last minute and attended Midwest FurFest in Chicago and WOW. I haven't had that much fun in so long. Even though I didn't have a fursuit, I still felt like I was among my own. The furry dance was amazing. It was like I was dancing at GYC IRL. The fursuiters were extremely nice to me and the panels were very informative. The weekend had one flaw, but nothing that ruined my time there. Hope to be at FC!
