To add perspective, you can’t really fault the con - they can’t investigate 10,000 attendees beforehand to make sure everyone is law abiding. Even complaint based, again, you’d need an entire team just to take, filter and investigate these claims (which are numerous in number).

A few. Or you can get them directly from artist, or if you have your own art you need printed, it's so much cheaper to do it yourself.

I checked wikifur and then googled for a few minutes and i didnt find anything about it. All I could find was him commenting on a Variety article about Pewdiepie being antisemitic. Do you have a link or anything? I even put his name in the sex offender reg and got nothing.

Cons let a lot of sex iffenders actually, not only artists but people who run panels too. I get that anywhere from 2k-30k can be at a con and running checks is impossible, but running background checks in sellers/panel hosts is doable.

That and if a con is brought to attention of an issue and they confirm the issue, ban them. The furry fandom legit needs cons to have “ban fucking pedos and zoophiles” sections dedicated to doing just that. It’s rampant.
