Update: The lines and borders of the demilitarized zone is still a technical debate between the Turkish & Russian delegations. Nothing has been decided until now. All reports about the DMZ only in rebel areas aren’t true.

I was told from senior rebel sources that this report is true. Turkish authorities should have informed factions that the demilitarized zone will be only implemented in rebel-held areas. However, I personally got other informations from Turkish sources.

These people are undermining the Turkish efforts & are deligimizing the Syrian opposition. This isn’t new. Radicals are doing it since years. A small group with the right symbols can destroy a lot of work by thousands of people demanding freedom.

Radicals in Idlib and supporters of the Assad regime are becoming really frustrated week by week due to the massive demonstration held by the civil society in Syria who demand a Free Syria. These demonstrations shouldn’t be seen only as stupid radicals, but as a certain agenda

While thousands of Syrians demonstrated for a Free Syria yesterday, a small bunch of radicals demonstrated with a flag known to be ISIS flag. Excuses that this flag was corrupted by ISIS are useless. These attempts have a certain agenda to deligimate the Syrian opposition

In contrast to Germany‘s court decision, French court rejected to designate as a terrorist organisation. Germany‘s decision based mainly on links between AhrarAlSham & Nusra, but this is very outdated.

The tone in Moscow massively changed. Lavrov: „We believe that Turkey will succeed in seperating the NORMAL, SANE/REASONABLE, and NATİONALİST opposition from Nusra“

Shocking! A radical leftist pro-PKK/YPG in set himself on fire in protest to Turkish-German relations accusing Germany of supporting Turkey with weapons in its ‚genocide‘ against Kurds. This is cheered as heroism by a German leftists! The danger is real..

The obviously and understandably derives some satisfaction from the way the has handled the "YPG" matter. But they must realise at some level that if a treaty ally like can be treated like that, what chance does a non-state gang of narco-extremists have?

I was told that Muhammed al Jolani ordered not to escalate the situation between HTS and Nureddin Zengi after todays tensions. Most likely, Jolani is well aware of the possible dangers
