By the way, you can tell if someone is genuine about their support for democracy in Middle East by giving them the 'two fat men test'. If you speak against only one of the two, you are a hypocrite and most probably a sectarian POS. Although the Syrian one is fatter & bloodier.

Two fat men hugging. The first fat man represents a government run by a minority which oppresses the majority aided by its allies and the second fat man represents a government run by a minority which oppresses a majority aided by its allies.

Kurdish activists sarcastically suggest creative ways to prevent fraud and repeated voting: Anyone who votes should be shaved bold or should be given general anaesthetic that will last for 24 hours. i doubt such tactics will beat KDP/PUK tricks. Wait and see

Qubad Talabani, the so-called young and new face of PUK, says the party will not abide by the Electoral Commission decisions. Basically they are saying ‘we will rig the election regardless!’

After news of PUK and KDP’s printing thousands of Iraqi ID (Jinsya) was leaked, the Electoral Commission has decided to require two different IDs. PUK is furious about the decision. Right now, somewhere in Erbil and Sulaimani, printing machines are working nonstop!

KDP and PUK are both anxious about each other as both suspect the other side will conduct mass fraud tomorrow. The tribal duo are ready to do *anything* not to lsoe the election including causing riot if necessary Are the other parties ready to stop fraud at any cost ?

Several sources claim PUk had done the same. Cars full of national IDs have been transferred to a location on Sulaimani. The tribal duo can never accept a free and fair election which they may lose.

In the last election, due to strict electronic voter registration, it was revealed that voter turnout is slightly above 50% in most areas. This time, due to fraud, voter turnout will be in 80-90% band. KDP/PUK can't change other parties' votes but can increase their own.

In the last election in May 2018 for Iraqi parliament, the voter registration was electronic so it was almost impossible to vote twice. However, the results were changed electronically. This time, results can't be changed but voting is manual and mass voting is easy.

A source inside KDP: Kurdistan Democratic Party has produced thousands of fake Iraqi IDs (Jinsya) which will be used tomorrow in the parliamentary election. KDP members & loyal militiamen have been urged to get the fake IDs and vote more than one time.

As a fun note, the pro-KDP Turkmen and Christian candidates have won significant vote among Kurdish Peshmerga's vote yesterday. For a naive observer, it may seem as a great example of social cohesion. In reality, it is KDP cheating on the real Christian and Turkmen parties.

With a few thousand of votes, the tribal duo especially KDP secures 11 seats which normally requires more than 150,000 votes! They also get to use the minority presence in the parliament as an achievement! Make it a rule: No system, is good if it is not good for all.

Kurdish ruling tribes KDP/PUK create phoney Christian & Turkmen parties who have little support in their communities. These phoney parties steal minority seats because ruling tribes direct a few thousand of their members to vote for them! They win Christian seat by muslim vote.

Latest example is from Iraqi Kurdistan. In appearance, the KRG has a quota system to enhance minority representation by giving ethnic/religious minorities 11 seats. Since the minorities are smaller in number, they need a few thousands or hundreds of votes to win a seat. BUT,,,

'Saddam the evil man who was good to Christians' or 'Assad the devil who protects Christians' are among the most popular urban myths in the West. EVERY single Middle Eastern dictator has played on the same sentiment, most with Christian minorities and some with women, LGBT.

'Minority rights is one of the most important notions of advanced democracies. But for Middle Eastern authoritarians, minorities are a good PR strategy especially to fool the West which is now dominated by leftist naivety and right-wing bigotry.

Sunday's elections is farce. It is still good for some laughter thought because KDP/PUK tribal duo do not disappoint when it comes to making a joke out of themselves when trying to seem humane and democratic.
