    What to make of AKP turning to for help? 1) AKP is desperate, can't find human resources to fill the hole it created 2) They think it can serve as "diet IMF" 3) Signal to West that they are not totally irrational, just desperate but at least capable of acknowledging it.

    I hear Turkey’s hired McKinsey to run the economy. Spoiler alert: a bunch of academically successful kids who don’t get enough sleep are going to prepare infinite powerpoints which are intentionally recursive and don’t actually solve the problem so the fees continue forever.
