SIE，PlayStationプラットフォームにおけるクロスプレイの方針転換を発表。PS4「フォートナイト」の機能拡張OBTを本日開始

　ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメント（以下，SIE）は本日（2018年9月26日），PlayStationプラットフォームとほかのハード間でのクロスプレイに関する方針を転換するエントリーを，同社が運営するPlayStation.Blogにて公開した。
　またこれに伴い，PS4版「フォートナイト」にて，クロスプレイ機能を拡張するオープンβテストを本日開始する。

　SIE社長兼CEOの小寺 剛氏の署名入りで公開されたエントリーによると，このオープンβテストでは「PS4、Android、iOS、Nintendo Switch、Xbox One、Microsoft WindowsとMac OS間のクロスプレイ、クロスプログレッション、クロス購入に対応」するとしている。
　またさらなる情報が確定次第，PlayStation.BlogやTwitterで告知が行われるとのことだ。
