    Couldnt agree more, although I'd also suggest that progressives seem more interested in bashing Bush, Kagan & co than doing any soul searching about, say, how Obama's non-intervention in Syria turned out.

    Reading a summer’s worth of takes on the future of US foreign policy has thoroughly convinced me that both trying to maintain US primacy and abandoning it will lead to serious problems. Also if there’s a middle ground no one knows what it is and the public won’t support it.

    It's pretty well established that US officials have tried to work with Ankara Gulen's extradition. According to reports, the quality/admissibility of the evidence has been deemed lacking. More over, there have been reports of ongoing FBI investigations into Gulenist funding.
