    With No doubt surprise airstrike of |i Air Force led to the shot down of |n Air Force's Il-20M by |n S-200 SAM on 17/09/2018. But Defense authorities must be held accountable for their negligence in not equipping the Il-20Ms with self-defense systems.

    One of the biggest shortcomings of |n defense authorities was to not modernize the Il-20M fleet quickly into program "Reviewer" standards as a part of that it was going to be equipped with chaff/flare dispensers, Radar Warning Receiver & IR missile approach warning system.
